Get to Know Me
Counseling is my second career. Prior to this I was a meeting and event planner for a non-profit. I decided to go back to school as I was looking for a career that had direct contact with people and allowed me to be present with them. I currently offer counseling services to individuals in PA and NJ. I was trained in psychodynamic therapy at Chestnut Hill College (MS, 2014) and have continued to add to my skill set through practice and continuing education. I am in the process of completing my EMDR certification following training.
I am an ally of the LGBTQIA+ community, committed to my own anti-racist work, a believer in Health at Every Size (HAES), a proponent of harm reduction, and open to learning.
Outside of work I am a reader, hiker and avid crafter. I live with my spouse and our cat who has a reputation amongst my clients for appearing out of nowhere and jumping in front of the camera during sessions despite my best efforts at prevention.
